Repetition, Repetition, Repetition is the Key

This most recent series is an acceptance of how my brain works and what kind of process I enjoy.  I've learned from having an autistic son to embrace, not fight against, my own neurodiversity.  When the world is a lot, I've learned to anchor myself in the small repetitive moments of life. How many times have I cut an apple, zipped up a coat, watered a plant? These small acts of care add up to something like peace.  My process is to start with a sense of color and shape, and then allow it to develop one scrap of paper, one stroke of paint at atime. My aim is to create interesting and evocative surfaces with simple, satisfying actions.
